TryCycle is proud to announce its No. 20 ranking in the 2024 Report on Business magazine’s list of Canada’s Top Growing Companies—a recognition that reflects the resilience and dedication shared by all 416 companies featured this year.

The Globe and Mail’s annual ranking of the country’s boldest entrepreneurial businesses was launched in 2019. The program ranks private and public Canadian-run businesses on three-year revenue growth. In order to qualify, a company had to be Canadian-run and have at least $2 million in annual sales in its most recent fiscal year.

“We’re incredibly honored to be named one of Canada’s top growing companies. With 2025 on the horizon, our focus is on expanding into new markets, launching new and innovative products, and forging strategic partnerships to better serve at-risk communities like Indigenous Peoples, Veterans, and Youth,” said Brett Merriman, CEO of TryCycle.

Earlier this year, TryCycle’s founding CEO, John MacBeth, transitioned from his role to concentrate on strategic sales, expanding business into new markets, and customer acquisition. He was succeeded by Brett Merriman, who has been with TryCycle since 2022, previously serving as the Chief Financial Officer.

TryCycle is the proud creator and company behind the Talking Stick app, an anonymous peer support platform and emergency alerting system for Indigenous people and communities, in addition to the Burns Way, a new and anonymous peer support chat platform for veterans.
